Sales Manager (Work at Chonburi)
- Identify, develop, or evaluate wholesale marketing strategy, based on knowledge of club objectives, market characteristics, and cost factors under the direction of General Manager and DOSM.
- Develop strong relationship with key domestic and international sales channels to drive as many inbound rounds as possible and maintain constant communication with them to identify their changing needs as well as room for improvement in all aspects.
- Use product and pricing analysis, segmentation, targeting and positioning techniques to create package products catering to different market segments while maintaining a financially healthy balance of business volume and profitability.
- Closely monitor the feedback from sales channels and individual customers in terms of pricing, package content and benefits and make adjustment in a timely fashion when required.
- Pay close attention to the market trends and seasonality and make constructive suggestions to DOSM when needed.
- Coordinate with key front and back of house departments to ensure high service stand is offered to inbound customers on a daily basis.
- Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with travel agents, tour operators, hotels or media, to market products or services.
- Compile lists describing product or service offerings.
- Initiate market research studies or analyze their findings.
- Create domestic and international tour operator and travel agent relationship, establish company point of contract and negotiate contract rates and contract business, FIT and groups.
-Knowledge of principles and methods for wholesale channel marketing and promotion in golf tourism or hospitality. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales monitoring systems, especially in volume-based high end service industries.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customers' personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, customer psychology analysis, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction.
- General knowledge of different traits and requirements of guests from different geographical origins and market segments.
- General knowledge of various key golf destinations in the region in terms of their business situation, market strength, threat that may pose to the Club as well as potential opportunity for partnership.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Knowledge of social media marketing, word processing, data analysis, spreadsheets, outlook and database management software.
